Taking my Redmi G202 laptop as an example, first of all, when we look at the bottom, we can find that there are 9 screws, so these screws need to be unscrewed. At the same time, many laptops have hidden screws, such as this laptop, the hidden screws are under this rubber pad. This requires an online search for the corresponding laptop disassembly guide. You can purchase some necessary tools online, mainly spudgers, so as to avoid damaging the laptop during disassembly. Along the seam, you can pry the pad apart, and you can see that the inside is snapped. Underneath, there is a screw. After all the screws have been removed, use a spudger, or other tool, such as a thin card, to pry the seams open, more than one can be used. After prying from the middle, slowly extend to the sides. There are buckles here, so slowly slide and pry. That's it, or try to pry it open a bit around, and you're done. It's usually easiest here. You need to pry it around the edge of the notebook, because there are clips on this edge, and then you can take off the cover and see the clips around the edge. Due to the large area and volume of SATA hard drives, they are less used now, but there are also a small number of laptops that have this option. So today we are going to install an M.2 NVMe SSD hard drive, which is an M.2 NVMe SSD hard drive from Jinbaida. Taking out the product, we saw the manual, fixing screws, silicone heat dissipation pad, metal heat sink, and M.2 NVMe SSD hard drive. This M.2 NVMe SSD hard drive has a capacity of 512GB. Now that the price of the hard drive has dropped, you can consider using 1TB or 2TB. This one supports PCIe Gen 3x4 protocol. This NVMe SSD uses a domestic Lianyun master controller. The rise of domestic chips allows us to use cheaper products. The installation of the M.2 NVMe SSD is to insert one side with a foolproof notch into the slot, and fix the other side with screws. M.2 SSD has different specifications, the most commonly used is 2280, which is the length. In addition, there are 2260, 2240, 22110, which are relatively rarely used. Well, the memory expansion and hard disk installation are completed. We put the cover back in place and connected the battery. Put the cover back on, then start the computer and take a look before turning the screws. Running Master Lu, we see that the memory is displayed as 32GB Jinbaida DDR4 3200MHz. In the details, you can see the frequency, timing and other related information. Checking the hard disk, it shows that there are 2 hard disks, the first hard disk is the original hard disk, and the second one is the newly installed Jinbaida hard disk. To the newly installed large hard disk, the original hard disk is divided into 2 areas, and I hope to transfer the C disk to the new hard disk. The laptop has only one M.2 interface, so the system needs to be transferred to a new large hard drive. So let me tell you how to achieve this goal quickly and easily. After downloading and installing, enter the software, and you can see pages with functions such as backup, synchronization, restore, clone, and tools. Here we choose clone, and then see that there is a system clone (system migration) function in it, which is to choose this. Then this screen will appear, and we directly select the new hard disk below as the destination for system migration. Then the software will remind you that the system will be migrated to the new target partition. Note that there is an option to make the most of space in the lower left corner. If you check this, the target partition will be completely occupied by the new system. If you want to expand the C drive, you should check this. If it is not checked, the system will migrate to the original size. The migration was completed soon. We looked at the system, and the system disk was very large. Start the computer and enter the UEFI BIOS, and change the boot sequence to the first boot sequence of Jinbaida hard disk. After startup, we can see that the migrated system starts normally, it is displayed as C drive, and the partition is the startup and page file. This means that the system has been migrated correctly and can be started normally. In general, memory expansion, hard disk expansion, hard disk expansion, and system migration of laptops can be easily accomplished as long as you follow the tutorial carefully.
