iPhone 14 Pro users upgrade quickly! iOS 16.1 Beta 2 fixes this big bug

For many users of the first iOS 16.1 beta, an issue preventing GPS from working properly on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max has been resolved in the second beta, media Macrumors reported. Updating to the latest beta will restore location accuracy on the device. Like the Apple Watch Extreme, both iPhone 14 Pro models support dual-frequency GPS. This means that the iPhone can receive signals from GPS satellites operating on the traditional L1 frequency and the higher-power L5 frequency, which are better able to pass through obstacles such as buildings and trees. The combination of these two signals should improve the location accuracy of map applications and other location-dependent applications. Apple says iOS 16.1 will be released later this year. The update will enable real-time activity support in third-party apps, introduce new clean energy charging in the US, add support for Matter accessories in the Home app, and make Apple Fitness+ available to iPhone users without an Apple Watch ,and many more.
