No one bought it! Apple scales back iPhone 14 production

According to foreign media Macrumors, Apple is scaling back production of the new iPhone 14, as demand for the latest iPhone appears to be low, which has the same design as last year’s iPhone and the chip from a year ago. Apple's biggest supplier Foxconn has been instructed to dismantle at least five production lines that previously made the iPhone 14 in Zhengzhou, China, supply chain employees said. According to the report, it's unclear if this only includes the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 or the larger 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus. The new revelation comes after Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said this week that Apple is ramping up production of the iPhone 14 Pro, which is in high demand. Kuo added that Apple is shifting production resources from the iPhone 14 to the iPhone 14 Pro to keep up. On Apple's website, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max in several configurations are still estimated to ship in a few weeks, while the iPhone 14 is still available immediately. The iPhone 14 Plus will be delivered to customers on Friday, October 7th without experiencing any delays on Apple's website. Compared to the iPhone 13, the iPhone 14 has the same design and display, but is powered by the same chip as the iPhone 13 Pro and has updated camera features. The 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus is a larger version with a larger battery, replacing the previous "mini" size in the iPhone 12 and 13 lineups. (8024847)
